Dr. Michael O. Oyedokun II is an internationally recognized preacher. Having preached over 3,000 sermons he understands the power of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to impact the lives of people. He has been speaking and preaching for over 25 years. He began his speaking as a youth in the local church and on the state level.
He has preached across the United States and continues to speak to churches, youth, national and district groups and organizations. Michael has a passion for speaking and he has studied the art of persuasive preaching to initiate a change in the lives of the hearers. Reverend Dr. Oyedokun specializes in servant leadership, persuasive preaching, youth development, faith through struggle, making disciples and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Michael Oyedokun felt the Lord calling him to the Good Hope Baptist Church in 2008. After submitting to God’s will, he was called to the Good Hope Baptist Church in August of 2008. On September 7, 2008 he preached his first sermon as pastor at Good Hope Baptist Church. He transitioned from Good Hope Baptist Church in July of 2021 to his current role as Assistant Director of Ministry Formation at Dallas Theological Seminary located in Dallas, TX. Currently he serves as the Secretary of Information and Technology for the (MBGCT) Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas, Director of the Minister’s Conference for St. John Regular Baptist Association, Vice President of the Minister’s Conference of the South Central Region of the MBGCT, serves as Chairman of Commission on Pastor & Church Financial Health for the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. Intl, and he serves as Board Member of Evangelical Board for National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. Intl.
Dr. Oyedokun has worked hard in the community of Waco and Austin. He served as a board member for the Capital City African American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and he gives his time to youth as well by mentoring and tutoring.
